Midland Guildford female A-grade will play Subiaco Floreat in the T20 grand final on Saturday after defeating them in their final regular season match.

THE Midland Guildford female A grade side will face Subiaco Floreat this weekend in the T20 grand final to be played on Saturday, December 21 at the WACA g/round.

In the final T20 match of the regular season for the female A grade, the side faced Subiaco Floreat.

After winning the toss and batting first, they posted 7-111 from their 20 overs with Chloe Piparo top scoring with 23 runs from 18 balls.

In the second innings, Morgan Pires was the standout bowler with three wickets for 11 runs from three overs.

Taneale Peschel (2-17 from three overs) and Lilly Mills (2-11 from two overs) both made key contributions as the side bowled out their opponents for 69 to secure a 42-run victory. The female B grade played Melville in their T20 semi final.

Their opposition posted 5-149 from 20 overs and the side would be dismissed for 57, missing their chance to play in the T20 grand final this weekend.

The female U17 will play in the T20 grand final after victory in their T20 semi final against South Perth by four wickets.

The side chased down the target of 122 after Kaitlyn Magistro (40 not out from 35) and Alyssa Tremlett (23 from 30) produced a pivotal 63-run partnership to guide the side towards a victory they would earn with eight balls remaining in the match.

The side will now play Wanneroo at the WACA ground for the chance to win the T20 premiership.

The female U14 were not able to secure victory in their own match this weekend as they lost by 10 wickets against Melville.

In the senior male grades, the male 1st grade have been beaten before stumps on day one against Melville, while the male 2nd grade posted 8-239 against the same opposition.

In the male 3rd grade match against Melville, the side declared on 9-194 and their opponents are 0-8 at stumps.

The male 4th grade are facing the same opponents and are 3-15 with a target of 140 for victory.

These matches will all conclude this weekend as teams aim to solidify their positions on the ladder as we approach the mid-season break.

The male U17 limited Melville to 147 all out in the first innings of their match and at stumps the side were 0-1 in response.

The male U15 were 0-5 at stumps on day one after bowling out the same opposition for 156 in their match.

The male U14 defeated Wanneroo in a closely contested match that was decided by just nine runs.

In the male U13 match against the same opponents, it was a three wicket win after the side successfully chased down the target of 118 for victory.
