Rainy clashes in HFA round nine

Mt Helena, Chidlow and Mundaring all claimed dominant wins over the wet weekend, defeating Pickering Brook, Gidgegannup and Midland respectively.

LAST week saw dominant victories over the rainy weekend with good results for the Mt Helena, Mundaring and Chidlow teams.

Mt Helena Lions faced off against the Pickering Brook Hawks with the Lions winning in convincing fashion.

The match ended with a 10.10 (70) score for the Lions and a 2.10 (22) final result for the Hawks.

Chidlow Cougars dominated with a 73-point lead by the end of their game against Gidgegannup Bulldogs.

Cougars Steven Schorer, Jake Forman and Max Daniels were all named best players of the match with the former two also counting among the goal scorers during the game.

In the end, it was a 2.5 (17) game for Gidgegannup and 11.24 (90) as the final score for Chidlow.

Mundaring and Midland faced off against each other in round nine with Mundaring leaving victorious.

The match finished up with 5.1 (31) for Midland Tigers and 12.18 (90) for Mundaring Roos.

The best players were named as Robert Di Salvio, Sateki A’Vard, and Dylan O’Loghlen for Mundaring and Niklas Geracitano, Denver Roberts and Shannon Coyne for Midland.
