The Saints had the opportunity to be competitive in the second quarter but for most of their round 18 game they were no match for the Roos forward line.

BULLSBROOK scored the first goal of the game after George Schneider kicked accurately but Mundaring took the ball away from the subsequent centre ball up to go forward for their first score.

While Roo Austin Thomas found the strong breeze blowing his shots on goal off target his teammate Clayton Thomas picked up several early possessions to get the ball forward to Tyson Hamling who marked and converted his kick on goal.

The ball spent the next 10 minutes in the Roos forward line as they continued to battle the breeze and accuracy.

By the first break Mundaring had a 10-point lead and went on to finish the game with a 22.19 (151) to 4.7 (31) victory.

The Saints had the opportunity to be competitive but the Roos had other ideas kicking eight goals to nil in the second quarter.

Thomas was becoming dominant as the ball spent most of the quarter in his forward line.

Roo Tyler Levitt appears to have cemented his place across half back where he continued to read the incoming ball and clear it out to where Robert Da Silvio and Jayk Jones were winning on their respective wings.

Saints Blair Gregson, Shaun Booker and Rory Crosby found themselves under siege from the continued pressure and as quick as they could clear the ball it was straight back in.

By the main break the margin had blown out to 60 points.

It appeared that the club room end was the scoring end as 20 of the 26 goals kicked were to that end.

The Saints managed another two goals in the third quarter through Brandon Ghirardi and George Schneider.

Brock Sherriffs came into the game across the Saints half backline.

Bullsbrook’s Michael Bailey worked hard with Andrew Kutchel to offer their forwards a supply.

The Roos came hard again, closing out the game with the last seven goals, six to Thomas in a stand out display the other to Jay-Michael Savarese from a mid-air snap.

The Saints backline had no answers to the Roos relentless forward entries.

In the end it was a dominant 120-point win to Mundaring.
