Moonlighters Party Band hit centre stage at Gidgestock

Gidgegannup is set to come alive with Gidgestock and the Moonlighters Party Band.

MOONLIGHTERS Party Band, hailing from the Perth Hills, will return to centre stage at this year’s Gidgestock music festival which will be offering three days of live entertainment, dancing and campfires under the stars from October 13-15 at the Gidgegannup festival grounds on Treechange Rise.

The six-piece group formed in 2009, with the band entertaining audiences with their high-energy performances of classic pub rock hits ever since.

Comprised of lead vocalists Margie and rhythm guitarist Stew, lead guitarist Nev, Tony on bass, Greg on guitar and keyboard and Col the drummer, the Moonlighters Party Band has become a well-known fixture on the local hills music scene.

With influences ranging from the Rolling Stones, The Cars, Fleetwood Mac, Killers, Pink, to AC/DC and Angels, the band’s repertoire includes classic pub rock tunes that are sure to get the crowd on their feet and singing along.

With years of experience between them, the Moonlighters are seasoned musicians who are passionate about their craft. They pride themselves on their professionalism, attention to detail, and their ability to tailor their performance to any audience.

Friday night features Face the Day, The Rough Housers, Brandon Poletti and the Eagleton Brothers and Chain Raction.

The Moonlighters will be performing on Saturday, October 14 from 7-7.45pm followed by Bradley Hall, Dr Souls, The U-Nites and Coastal Drift.

Sunday features the Bev Abela Band, The Catherine Wheels, Blues Confusion and Pentology will close the festival from 11am till noon.
