IT was a successful weekend for the Midland Guildford Cricket Club teams playing one-day matches including U17 player Rebekah Farr who scored her 50 runs from just 25 balls.
The female A grade won by 35 runs against South Perth after stand-out performances from Ines McKeon (37 runs from 35 balls) and Morgan Pires (3-19 from four overs).
The female B grade won their double-header, beating Wanneroo by six wickets and South Perth by five runs.
Emma Wilson led the way against Wanneroo with 3-8 off four overs, before Alisha Kozma scored 66 from 47 against South Perth.
In the female U17 it was Rebekah Farr who helped the side post 9-129 as she scored her 50 from just 25 balls, before they restricted their opponents to a total of 7-82 in a 47 run victory.
The female U14 won by four wickets in their match against Subiaco-Floreat.
In the junior boys, a thrilling match in the male U14 saw the side winning by one wicket after Cooper Forsyth top scored with 52 from 93.
The male U13 enjoyed a comfortable 51 run victory in their match with both Lachie Flux and Kyle Taylor scoring half-centuries.
The senior male sides will look to complete their first two-day matches of the season this weekend.
