CITY of Kalamunda’s community engagement portal has received a quality-of-life update with improved user functionality, more search capabilities and a modern new look.
Kalamunda residents can use the Engage Kalamunda platform to participate in the current projects available for feedback and find more information about each item.
The home page features an open projects, active projects, and closed projects section where account holders may take part in new projects or access an overview of past projects with related documents and pictures.
Project searches can be filtered by category and suburb to find the most relevant results.
Current open projects include the Bushfire Preparedness 2024-2025 survey which closes at 5pm on Friday, November 1.
The short survey aims to help the City of Kalamunda gauge the community’s readiness for the warmer months and can be completed and submitted with a chance to win prizes.
Informative videos and supplementary documents are now displayed on the right side of project pages with important links and relevant contact numbers.
Account holders are encouraged to participate to stay informed about new developments in the city, but forum etiquette rules do apply, and moderators will remove inappropriate content.
Moderation on the Engage Kalamunda portal is carried out by Bang the Table who are independent to the council.
The moderators do not edit or alter any comments and will only remove comments deemed to be significantly off topic, offensive or malicious, in which case they are removed from the site immediately.
Comments that do not adhere to the moderation rules and terms and conditions will be removed and users will be notified of this by email.
Previous members of Engage Kalamunda will have to reset their passwords following the update.
