Earlier in the day, the Swan Districts colts beat Peel Thunder 12.15 (87) to 7.9 (51).

The win means the Swans finish the colts season in fifth position with a nine win and seven loss record and are slated to play West Perth in an elimination final on Sunday at East Fremantle’s The Good Grocer Park.

Peel led by half-time, though Swan Districts took the led after the break, kicking eight goals to one in the second half.
