WESTERN Australians can visit Perth Zoo for free this spring thanks to the state government’s new Perth Zoo free pass.
The $6.2 million initiative provides an opportunity for Western Australians experiencing cost of living pressures to enjoy a memorable day at the zoo for free between September 9 and November 30.
Every Western Australian can claim up to four free tickets to Perth Zoo via the ServiceWA app, with the pass able to be used to admit both children and adults, and also provides free public transport to and from the zoo.
A family of four headed to Perth Zoo will save more than $100 in ticket prices, plus more than $10 in public transport costs.
More than 800,000 people visited Perth Zoo last financial year - a new visitation record - underpinned by the state government’s $51 million investment to upgrade facilities and attractions at the zoo.
