ALEX Radonic celebrated his 200th game for Chidlow in style as the Cougars romped home in a 25.14 (164) to 6.5 (41) win over Gidgegannup.

Both Hills Football Association (HFA) teams have suffered a spate of recent injuries leading to each of them starting one player down.

Adam McKinlay started the Cougars scoring spree with his first of 12 goals for the game.

The Bulldogs backline had no answers to the relentless Cougars forward entries.

Lucaz Dymek, Jake Forman and Max Daniels crumbed nearly every centre ball up, driving the ball deep into their forwards.

Jarrad Young along with Liam Marriott were doing their best to get their team into the game, Declan Bell was given the rucking duties in the absence of regular Declan Whife.

When Gidgegannup did manage a forward entry Luke Elliott was there to take the strong defensive marks.

The Bulldogs managed to get their only goal for the quarter through Tobi Brojanowski, while the Cougars had opened up a 48-point lead.

The Bulldogs managed to slow the Cougars down to a combined eight goals for the second and third quarters while kicking three of their own.

Beau Nairn went forward to kick a goal, while Jarrad Young also managed a goal as reward for his hard running.

Xavier Howse worked with Declan Bell to collect several possessions.

The last quarter began with Chidlow holding a commanding 81-point lead.

Josh Carter, Coby Campbell and Alan Rigg had battled hard in their backline. Unfortunately for Bulldogs the Cougars kicked back into top gear with another nine goals to close out the game and claim a 123-point win on their home ground.

Tyrone Offer put in a solid four quarter effort down back while Blake Morey and Alex Radonic became other scoring options.

Chidlow’s win was further highlighted by several of their younger group showing what they should be able to deliver on a more regular basis going forward with a lot of their senior players delivering more supporting roles
